The Heritage Hotel Rockhampton does not only provide rooms for overnight stays. The hotel boasts of amazing function rooms where events can be held. At Heritage Hotel Rockhampton, there is a room for any and every event. We invite you to host your next event at any of the function rooms and spaces at the hotel.
The function rooms available are the Johnson Room, the Quay Function Room and Bar and the Beer Garden. Each of these rooms and spaces come with different settings and capacities. Guests can choose whichever one bests suits the type of event and the needs of that event.
The Johnson Room
The Johnson room is named after Mrs Leah Johnson, the founder of the hotel, in 1898. The room is a stylishly set, spaced room. It is a great venue for less formal social events such as birthday parties, hens parties, etc. It has a balcony that looks out over the Fitzroy River and the Beer Garden.
The Johnson room has a capacity of between 30 and 40 people. However, there is an option that can accommodate up to 100 people. This is possible by including the River lounge area that adjoins the Johnson room.
Quay Function Rooms and Bars
The Quay room is the largest event room at the hotel. It is a private room for exclusive functions. It comes with its street entrance. Guests do not have to access the room through the hotel.
The Quay room can accommodate up to 100 people in its two areas. The first area can take between 40 to 50 people, comes with its bar used for social and general gatherings. The second room is a side room that can also accommodate between 40 and 50 people. It is a more formal setting with sitting and dining arrangements.
We can rearrange the second room for a stand-up event. In that setting, the room will accommodate more people. This arrangement is suitable for stand-up cocktail functions and so on. Projectors and screens can be used. Also, the hotel can make tea stations and coffee stations available alongside exquisite food options to make your event a success.
The Beer Garden
The Beer Garden is a sit-out set outdoors. It comes with sitting arrangements. The area is open for rent for private events, functions and cooperation events during the week. During the weekends, the garden is open to members of the public. Families and friends gather at the garden to socialise while enjoying the ambience of the beautiful garden.
The Heritage Hotel Rockhampton also provides function catering. The Hotel kitchen can whip up an exquisite meal to make your guests happy and make your event a rousing success. The menu options include traditional meals or light platter meals.
